 <description>&lt;h1&gt;Community Colleges&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;p&gt;Community colleges in the state offer a variety of programs, including technical courses, workforce training, fine arts, education and business. Most offer credits that transfer to major universities, including the &lt;a href=&quot;/labor/labor_2_1.htm&quot;&gt;University of New Mexico&lt;/a&gt;, a Class I research institution. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;h2&gt;Central New Mexico Community College &lt;/h2&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.cnm.edu&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Central New Mexico Community College&lt;/a&gt; (CNM), formerly called Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute (TVI), is the third largest post-secondary school in New Mexico.
