But when Joel Goldblatt, long-time Santa Fe resident, heard about the company, he set about licensing the technology for New Mexico. “This is the first device that combines solar and wind technonolgy,” Goldblatt says, “and I wanted to do it in New Mexico because I was looking for a ready market.” Although Goldblatt is just starting out, he says he plans to take advantage of employment and training incentives as well as the manufacturing tax credit for renewable energy. He’s currently in the Santa Fe Business Incubator, where many successful New Mexico companies have gotten their start.
