The Metro area offers high quality educational opportunities from vocational training to post-graduate studies at a Class 1 Research University. Check out:
- University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, with a branch in Los Lunas, and classes in Santa Fe and Rio Rancho. A new campus planned for Rio Rancho would become the third largest university campus in the state.
- Community Colleges in Albuquerque and Santa Fe - Central New Mexico Community College and Southwest Indian Polytechnic, both in Albuquerque, and Santa Fe Community College offers opportunities for continuing education, certificate programs and associate degrees.
- Other State Colleges - including NM Highlands University and NM Institute of Mining and Technology
- Private Colleges and Universities in the region include the College of Santa Fe, National American University in Albuquerque, Southwestern College and St. John's College in Santa Fe, and Webster University in Albuquerque.
